Choose the refrigerator around the way you intend to use it, then compare the power arrangement.
Define the load
List the contents, usable interior space and required temperature range. Compare internal dimensions rather than exterior size alone.
Define the location
Measure the available space and check the manual’s clearance, ventilation, ambient-temperature and orientation limits.
Define the power source
Record the exact source model, output requirements, cable and any adapter. Ask for written compatibility confirmation.
Ask for realistic consumption information
Request manufacturer energy-use data with ambient temperature, setpoint and test conditions. A compressor rating alone is not a verified daily-use figure or runtime guarantee.
Compare service as well as features
Identify the warranty provider, repair route, return authorization process, shipping responsibility and restocking conditions.
Compare delivered price
Include any required power equipment, cables and freight. If several suppliers ship the configuration, check delivery coordination and separate return obligations.
Use the exact refrigerator and power-system manuals before relying on performance claims. This checklist is not a model recommendation and does not promise runtime, food safety or medical storage. For outage food-safety instructions, follow public-health guidance rather than a product advertisement.
