Free Equipment Setup Check

Survival Preppers Market / Free Setup Check

Before you buy, know what fits.

Tell us the job, your equipment and what you already own. Get a written check of the documented fit, missing pieces and questions to settle before spending.

No purchase required. One proposed setup at a time. Reply by email.

Three different jobs. Three different setups.

Start with what needs to happen.

A solar panel, a power station and a filter solve different problems. Choose the job first, then check the package.

Dark Energy Recon 2000 power station with wheels and handle

Stored backup power

I need plug-in power when an outlet is unavailable.

Current option: Dark Energy Recon 2000.

  • 2,016Wh stored energy; 2,400W continuous AC output, as listed by the manufacturer.
  • Station, AC charging cable and listed 12V car charging cable.
  • Solar panel, expansion battery and home-circuit installation are not included.
  • Check device startup demand, hours of use and the recharging plan.

RICH SOLAR MEGA 200 folded briefcase panel with supplier dimensions

Charge an existing battery

I already own a suitable 12V battery.

Current option: RICH SOLAR MEGA 200 kit.

  • 200W-rated panel with included 20A PWM controller and listed connection leads.
  • Battery and AC inverter are not included.
  • It does not store electricity or run household AC appliances by itself.
  • Check battery requirements, controller settings and required protection. A matching plug is not enough.

Connection illustration

Filter at an existing hookup

I have a suitable connected water source.

Current option: Sentry Portable System.

  • Portable housing and the selected two-cartridge filter set.
  • Two suitable garden hoses are required and are not included.
  • It is not a water tank or independent pump.
  • Check the source and filter set. Do not rely on it alone to make unknown or contaminated water safe.

Worked example / hypothetical equipment

A small load still needs a complete plan.

A 20W light and a 12W router used together for six hours:

(20W + 12W) × 6h = 192Wh

That is device energy before conversion losses or a planning reserve. It is not a promised power-station runtime.

Our next questions: What are the exact device models and power connections? Any startup demand? How will you recharge? Is a smaller setup more appropriate?

This is an illustrative calculation, not a product test or a customer result. Use the free runtime planner to work through your own loads.

A point of contact after checkout

Keep the question with SPM.

We handle your order questions and coordinate with the fulfillment supplier when a delivery, return or product issue needs attention.

Each listing explains its own shipping coverage, charges, included equipment and return conditions. Different suppliers may ship separately.

If the current catalog does not provide a documented fit for your needs, we will say so. A missing answer is a reason to check, not a reason to guess.

What are you trying to make work?

Use the question box below. A short description is enough to start:

  1. The job: what you want to run, charge, connect or filter, and the conditions where you will use it.
  2. The equipment: exact model numbers, manual links and what you already own. Include hours of use for a power question or water-source type for a filter question. “Unknown” is fine.
  3. The shortlist: the SPM product you are considering, your budget range and delivery ZIP if relevant. No street address or payment details are needed.

You receive a manual email reply. We may need another detail or a manufacturer answer before we can give a useful conclusion.

Sending a service question does not subscribe you to marketing email or SMS. If the form does not load, open the same GHL question form.

Before you send it

Does this cost anything or require a purchase?

The Setup Check is free and does not require a purchase. It covers one proposed equipment setup, using the available manufacturer information. It is not an installation or a custom engineering service.

Will you guarantee a runtime or certify my water?

No. We distinguish published ratings, illustrative estimates and questions that still need confirmation. A documentation review is not a physical product test, water analysis or installation approval. We identify those limits in the reply.

I know the exact model. Can I buy without a check?

Yes. The check is optional. Shop the current equipment and review the listing’s contents, delivery restrictions and return terms before ordering.

Can you help with something I already own?

Include its exact model and the SPM product you want to use with it. We will check the documented connection and operating requirements, and identify anything that needs manufacturer confirmation.
